CRN South London ODP application
What is the CRN South London Open Data Platform (ODP) application?
The CRN South London Open Data Platform (ODP) application, developed locally by the Business Intelligence team, is a web-based tool designed to provide users with detailed information on the latest recruitment, performance and study activity, of both local and nationwide studies.
Please note you will automatically have access to ODP if you have a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Hub account, or you can register for an ODP account using your Trust or NHS email address. You can use the 'Create Account' link on the following ODP login page to create an ODP account (opens in a new window).
CRN South London ODP application tabs
The CRN South London ODP applications splits its information across multiple tabs intended for users working in different areas. Tabs will contain detailed and specific data, including reports and tables tailored for different working groups.
Details about each tab, including links to 'how to' documents and training videos, can be found below.
Study Details
This tab features study-specific information, as well as South London Trust data linked to that particular study. It also provides the ability to print a research summary.

Network Comparison
This tab contains different charts displaying activity across Networks in England, including weighted recruitment, recruitment per million population and number of studies.

This tab has a variety of charts displaying information across South London Trusts, including weighted recruitment, specialty performance and recruitment to target.

This tab contains a collection of tables which show the site-level recruitment to time and target, including the Red Amber Green (RAG) rating of Non-Commercial studies.

Open to New Sites
This tab displays two lists of studies accepting new research sites; one featuring open studies and the other showing studies in setup. It's also possible to select a group of studies and print their research summaries for further review.
